A modeling accessory meant for builders who need heftier rubber than the production form of a car carries. The tires are fitted onto rims obtained separately and serve to finish a sporting car model off; in themselves they are neither a wheel as a whole nor a model of a vehicle.
The real subject is the circuit tire Toyo Proxes R888R from the Japanese brand Toyo Tires, that is rubber from the category of extremely high-performance road-homologated semi-slicks. Compared with ordinary road rubber it has substantially fewer grooves and more massive shoulder blocks, which gives it a characteristic square profile seen from the front. The size designation 275/30 R20 from the name belongs to the wider side of the range - on real cars such sizes appear above all on high-performance versions with a widened body.
On a wide tire it is the side that gives away the quality of the work most. It pays to let it cure in a vertical position after fitting, so that it does not deform, and only then to finish the model off. You create a realistic patina by dusting a dust shade along the edges of the tread in a very thin coat and leaving the center of the tread darker, as though it were worn by contact with the road. Blend the transition between the two zones with drybrushing.
The goods are an accessory for a part-built model, not a kit of a car in its own right.
