The set contains rims with the pattern carried under the BMW factory designation Styling 35 in the form for a sixteen-inch diameter, and tires described as stance to go with them. In 1:24 scale a sixteen-inch rim, that is 406 mm on the subject, works out to a diameter of roughly seventeen millimeters.
Sixteen inches is a modest measure against today's sizes and belongs rather to older cars. In combination with a tire in the stance form it gives a different expression than a large rim: the sidewall stays taller, but the car sits low, so the result comes across rather as a period-modified piece than as a modern conversion. For a build of an older car it is usually a more convincing choice than a wheel two numbers larger.
For builders of older road cars and their modifications who want a particular rim pattern and a tire to match it straight away. With a lowered build, count on working the seating of the axles, so that the wheel sits in the arch where it should. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
