Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima captures the Mazda RX-7 of the FD3S type with body accessories of the BOMEX brand in the 1999 model year version. The 1:24 scale is the most widespread for road cars, so the model goes well with the other vehicles in a display case.
The third-generation Mazda RX-7, with the factory designation FD3S, was built from 1991 and is among the icons of Japanese sports motoring. It is powered by the two-rotor Wankel engine 13B-REW with two sequentially arranged turbochargers. The combination of low weight, a low-mounted engine and balanced weight on both axles made it one of the best-handling Japanese cars of its day. The later series of the end of the 1990s received a modified nose and further partial changes. BOMEX is a Japanese maker of aerodynamic accessories whose bumpers, skirts and wings belonged to the typical look of modified cars on the tuning scene of the time.
Separate the parts with modeling nippers and sand the sprue nubs down with fine sandpaper. For plastic, use thin cement for polystyrene, which wicks into the joint and leaves no excess. Spray the body over filler primer, which will reveal any scratches, and refine the gloss shade by overcoating with clear varnish and fine polishing. Glue the clear windows and headlights exclusively with a cement intended for transparent parts, as ordinary cement would fog them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
