This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima covers the Nissan Cedric luxury car in the 280E Brougham version in the four-door hardtop form. The model recalls the Japanese luxury sedans of the turn of the 1970s and 1980s.
The Cedric was a range of larger luxury cars from Nissan. The 280E Brougham version was one of the richly appointed forms; hardtop denotes a body with no fixed frame around the side windows. The car is a typical representative of the Japanese upper class of its day.
Smooth the body, spray it with an airbrush and go over it with a gloss clear coat. Bring out the rich chrome parts with metallic paints or foil, and let the roomy interior stand out through careful painting of the upholstery. Finish the decals with a final clear coat.
