The Aoshima Fabulous Celsior UCF31 in 1:24 scale is a plastic kit of the third-generation Toyota Celsior in the styling of the Japanese brand Fabulous, in the 2003 model year version.

An injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima captures the Toyota Celsior with the type designation UCF31 supplemented by the body package of the Fabulous brand. The 1:24 scale is the most common for road cars, and the model fits in well among the other vehicles in a display case.
The third-generation Toyota Celsior, of the UCF30 and UCF31 type series, was built from 2000. Outside the Japanese market it was sold under the Lexus brand as the LS 430 model and was the flagship of the whole range: a V8 of four point three liters, an emphasis on quiet running, a smooth transmission and rich equipment. In the middle of its life cycle it went through a facelift. In Japan the Celsior became one of the main cars of the so-called VIP style, and the Fabulous brand supplied bumpers, skirts and wheels for it that turned a prestige sedan into a low-slung car with a conspicuous nose.
The large smooth body of a luxury sedan is the most demanding part of the build when painting. Spray filler primer, wet-sand the surface and only then apply the paint in thin coats. Spray pearl and metallic shades evenly and without interruption, otherwise streaks will form. Bare-metal foil will handle the chrome window surrounds, and glue the glass with cement for clear parts. With cars of this type it makes sense to appoint the interior carefully, because it is clearly visible through the large glazing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
