The Honda N360S (N II) with over fenders is a Hasegawa plastic kit in 1:24 scale capturing a Japanese kei class car.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the Japanese brand Hasegawa in 1:24 scale. The real subject is the Honda N360 in the sportier S version, and in the second series, which the maker marks N II in the name. The addition over fender means that the package reckons with widened fenders, that is with the modified look that the Japanese scene took to on this small car. The number of parts and the decal schemes are given on the box of the kit.
The Honda N360 is a small kei class car that went into production in 1967. It was powered by an air-cooled twin of 354 cubic centimeters mounted transversely at the front, and the front wheels were driven. Honda derived the engine solution from its experience with motorcycles, so for its size the car was extraordinarily lively and quickly became a sales hit in Japan. The S version was the sharper variant of the range, and the second series brought changes to the body and the equipment. The widened fenders do not belong to the factory look but to a later tuning fashion.
A small real subject means a small model, so every inaccuracy shows twice over. Dry-fit the widened fenders before painting and smooth the transition to the original body with filler. Build the body up in thin layers of paint to a gloss, because the areas are small and a heavy layer would fill the detail. Pick out the chrome strips and window frames with a brush rather than masking them. Glue the glazing with a cement intended for clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
