Injection-molded plastic kit of the Honda NSX in 1:24 scale from Tamiya: the Japanese sports car with an opening engine cover and a choice of left- or right-hand drive.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from Tamiya of Japan captures the first generation of the Honda NSX sports car. The model faithfully carries over the aerodynamically shaped body and offers a movable rear cover with a window through which you can look at the finely rendered V6 engine. Underneath the car there is a detailed double-wishbone suspension and the exhaust system. The interior captures the leather seats, and parts for both left- and right-hand drive are enclosed. The pop-up headlights are made as movable parts.
The Honda NSX was this Japanese make's first supercar, and on its launch in the early 1990s it brought an aluminum body and chassis and a naturally aspirated V6 engine mounted ahead of the rear axle. The car became famous for its balance, reliability and ride comfort, which upset the accepted idea that a supercar had to be impractical. Experience from Formula 1 went into its development.
Join the parts with thin cement for plastic. Build the glossy body up on a good base: primer, paint in thin coats, a clear coat and polishing to a mirror shine, because on a road sports car a smooth finish shows best of all. Fit the chromed frames, the glazing and the headlights at the end and glue them with glue for clear parts. Bring the interior with its leather seats to life with fine shading, and pick the steering variant you are going to build in advance.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
