A plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Fairlady Z sports coupe in the Version S specification and in the two-seat version (2 Seater), 1:24 scale, manufacturer Fujimi. The model belongs to the extensive line of Japanese passenger cars and is intended for building, painting and putting on display.
Fairlady Z is the Japanese designation of the Nissan line of sports coupes sold on export markets under names such as 240Z, 280ZX or 300ZX. What the line has in common is a long hood, a coupe silhouette with a glazed rear and rear-wheel drive. Buyers could traditionally choose between the short two-seat version and a lengthened body with occasional rear seats, which Nissan designated 2by2. The two-seat version is shorter, lighter and in the eyes of collectors the purer shape; that is exactly what this box captures, in the Version S specification.
On a sports coupe the long continuous surface of the hood and the flanks matters most - so sand the parting lines carefully and smooth the surface before the paint goes on, as unevenness will otherwise stand out in a gloss finish. Lay the primer down in a thin coat, sand it and only then spray the color. Finish the gloss with a clear varnish and polish it with a fine compound once it has cured. Apply the decals onto a gloss base, draw them down with a decal softener and seal them with varnish. Finish the interior, the dashboard and the seats before you close the body up - they are clearly visible through the large glazed rear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
