A plastic kit of the sporting Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R in its early form, 1:24 scale, in the release with parts for a higher level of detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R is the sporting peak of the Bellett range of the late 1960s. The number in the designation refers to the displacement of the engine and the abbreviation after it to the sporting rendition, which came about for use in competition. The model captures the early form of the car, that is the one from the beginning of its production.
It is a plastic kit in 1:24 scale. According to the name the release is the version with parts for a higher level of detail; their extent and the way they are used are described in the enclosed instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
First rid the body of excess material, sand it with fine paper and wash and degrease the surface so that the paint holds and does not curdle anywhere. Lay the paint down in thin coats with a pause between them. Finish the interior and the engine bay before you close the body up. The add-on detail parts are not always polystyrene, so check in the instructions what each one is glued with and try the seating dry before you reach for the glue. Leave the fine parts until the end of the build so that they do not break off during the work.
The kit will please collectors of Japanese cars and modelers who want to build a car with a competition past and with a higher level of detail than the base release offers. Paints, glue and putty are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
