Red Fox Studio has prepared printed instruments with three-dimensional relief for this machine. The dials are finished including the lettering, they are applied on a carrier film and they bring the cockpit detail that a brush could not manage. Even the small placards, which could hardly be outlined by hand, are printed. There are no plastic airframe parts in the package; a model of your own is assumed.
The R version came about by adapting the B version for operations over the sea and over long distances. It received drop tanks under the wings and a modified fuel system, which lengthened the range considerably at the cost of the bomb load. It was used mainly against shipping in the Mediterranean, off the Norwegian coast and over the Aegean Sea. The external sign is exactly those underwing tanks. The bomb load under the fuselage had to stay limited.
Level the raised surface and free it of dust. Take the elements off one at a time and lay them on a dark surface, as they are hard to find on a light one. Press the part you have offered up with a soft tool in the middle and only then press the edges down. Do not wash the finished cockpit, so that the corners do not lift. Change the knife blade often, as a blunt edge tears the print.
