An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese endurance prototype Mazda 767B in 1:24 scale from Hasegawa, in the version from the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1989 in the Charge livery. The model captures the closed sports prototype (Group C / IMSA GTP) with its striking orange and green color combination. The package contains injection-molded plastic parts, rubber tires, decals and instructions; check the exact contents and markings against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Mazda 767B was an endurance racing prototype used at the end of the 1980s, among other places at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Mazda brand became famous for using rotary (Wankel) engines in its racing prototypes, which were renowned for high revs and a characteristic sound. The car in the Charge colors was among the striking entrants in endurance racing and prepared the ground for Mazda's later famous victory at Le Mans.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; glue the glazing carefully, so that the plastic does not go cloudy. Apply the conspicuous Charge livery in layers and lay the sponsors' decals on after a gloss varnish. Bring out the interior with its roll cage and racing seat before closing the body; a gloss varnish will support the look of an endurance special.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
