1:24 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R RNN14 1992 WRC Gr.N Champion is a plastic kit of the Japanese homologation special in its winning Group N competition trim.
Responsibility details are not available.
In 1:24 scale Hasegawa brings a small but exceptionally sharp hatchback that Nissan built for rally homologation. The release is tied to the 1992 season and to the car in Group N specification, that is in trim far closer to the production state than that of the Group A cars.
The Pulsar GTI-R, internally designated RNN14, was built from 1990. A two-liter SR20DET four-cylinder with a turbocharger, an intercooler under the prominent opening in the hood and all-wheel drive all fitted into the short body. It was the ratio of weight to power that gave the car its reputation as a wild but fast tool. In the world championship the GTI-R made its mark better in the category of cars closer to production than among the works specials, and the Group N title is the proof. Group N competition trim leaves the car its production basis and mainly allows safety equipment, so the model stays close to its civilian sibling.
The decals with race numbers and partner lettering call for the most work; apply them over a perfectly glossy surface and use a decal softener so that they settle into the edges. The opening in the hood and the radiator grilles are worth picking out with a dark shade, which adds depth. The fenders and the sills are best dusted lightly with pigments to match the surface on which you want to present the car. The interior with its roll cage is worth finishing before you close up the body.
This is an unpainted kit for assembly; paints, glue and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
