An injection-molded plastic kit of the Nissan Skyline GTS-R of the R31 generation in the modified Custom version with widened fenders (over fenders), in 1:24 scale. The model is supplied unassembled; the box usually includes waterslide decals and assembly instructions.
The Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) was a homologation special of the second half of the 1980s built for Group A racing. It was powered by a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine and the car became the basis for a whole range of racing and tuning conversions. The widened fenders allow wider wheels to be fitted and emphasize the sporting look.
Separate the parts with a sprue cutter and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Sand the body down, treat it with surfacer and spray it with an airbrush for a smooth gloss finish; the widened fenders call for careful fitting and for sanding the seams. Glue the glazing with cement for clear parts and apply the decals onto a gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
