Plastic model kit of the Nissan Skyline GTS, R31 generation, in its early production version, 1:24 scale. You will need glue, paints and basic tools for the build.
Responsibility details are not available.
The R31 generation of the Skyline is the seventh series of this Japanese car and arrived in the mid-1980s. Its signature is the boxy body with straight edges, narrow headlights and a wide band of tail lights. The GTS designation went to the sportier versions. The early-version qualifier in the name points to the first production form, which differs from the later ones in exterior and equipment details.
1:24 is the most common scale for car models; the finished car measures about eighteen centimeters and will sit alongside most other cars on the shelf. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted, unless stated otherwise. The range of parts, the equipment variants and the markings are listed in the manufacturer's instructions.
On a car it is the body that decides everything. Clean the mating surfaces of excess material, sand the seams smooth and wash and degrease the surface before painting. Lay the paint on in thin coats and let each one flash off, because a single heavy coat floods the fine edges and transitions. Gloss comes from polishing after the paint has dried completely, not from a wet coat. Mask the clear parts before spraying and glue them with a cyanoacrylate made for clear plastics so they do not fog.
Paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
