Pendants 1:24 is a set of hanging ornaments for the interior of a car model from the Polish brand Yamamoto Model Parts. It is not a kit of a car but a small accessory that hangs from the rearview mirror in a cabin.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a model of a car but a set of small hanging ornaments in 1:24 scale. On a real car such pendants hang from the rearview mirror and in the Japanese tuning scene they belong to the typical equipment of a cabin. They are added to a model at the very end, when the interior is finished and the body is not yet fitted, as after that you can no longer reach the space by the mirror.
The interior tends to be the first thing on a car model that gives away whether the builder stopped over the detail. An empty mirror comes across as sterile, whereas a small pendant gives a cabin both scale and a story, as the viewer realizes at once how small that space is. The accessory suits a build of a car in the JDM style, a model displayed with the doors open and anywhere the cabin can be seen into. Yamamoto Model Parts specializes in this kind of accessory for 1:24 scale, so the parts match ordinary car models in size.
The parts are very small, so work over a light-colored surface and with tweezers, not with your fingers. Before gluing, wash them in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, so that no remains of mold release agent or of uncured resin are left on the surface. Cut the remains of casting blocks or print supports off with a sharp modeling scalpel and sand the surface lightly; protect your breathing while sanding. Glue them with super glue, as ordinary liquid cement for plastic does not hold on parts like these. They are painted with a brush once a base has been sprayed on, and the hanger itself can be replaced with a thin wire or a thread, so that the ornament hangs freely and does not come across as a glued-on block.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The car model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
