Responsibility details are not available.
A set of decals for a model of the Porsche 917K sports prototype in 1:24 scale. It matches the car of the Porsche Salzburg team with race number 11, in which Vic Elford and Denny Hulme drove in the 1000-kilometer race at Brands Hatch in April 1970. It is not a kit but markings on their own for a model of your own.
Porsche Salzburg was an Austrian operation connected with the Porsche family, and in the 1970 season it worked as one of the teams through which the works cars were entered. The Porsche 917K with its twelve-cylinder engine was the fastest car in the field at the time, and 1970 was the decisive year for the type. Brands Hatch is a broken-up English circuit with marked changes of elevation, where endurance races were run in any weather.
Apply onto gloss varnish, or a silvery veil will appear under the decal. Cut the sheet close to the motif so that no edge is left around it. Dip the decal in water for a few seconds and let it release on the paper. On broken-up surfaces use a softener, which draws the film into the detail. Overcoat the finished model so that the edges merge with the surface.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model and paints are not included in the package.
