An injection-molded plastic kit of a supercar in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The name of the box refers both to the base Diablo and to its all-wheel-drive version designated VT. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; cement for plastic, paints and basic modeling tools are needed to finish it.
In the 1990s the Lamborghini Diablo was the brand's flagship and the direct successor of the legendary Countach. A twelve-cylinder engine mounted amidships at the rear, a wedge-shaped body and scissor doors carried on the tradition of Italian supercars, while the chassis and the body were markedly more modern than the predecessor's. The VT in the designation refers to the viscous coupling in the drive to the front axle, thanks to which the Diablo gained all-wheel drive and put its power down better. The Diablo was built in a series of versions and is among the most frequently modeled supercars of its era.
A low wedge-shaped body calls for a perfectly flat surface - sand the parting lines in gentle steps and keep checking the primer against the light. Spray the color in thin coats and let the gloss varnish cure fully. Mask the glazing and the frames carefully, because on a supercar any imprecision shows at first glance. Finish the interior and the chassis before closing the body up, apply the decals onto a gloss base with a decal softener and seal them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
