A set of six-point safety belts in a black form for a car model in 1:24 scale, worked up after the pattern of the racing harnesses of the Sabelt brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A six-point harness holds the driver in the seat so firmly that under hard braking or in an impact he cannot slide forward or slip under the lap belt. Two straps run over the shoulders, two across the pelvis and a pair of shorter straps between the thighs; all of them converge into a single central buckle. Harnesses of exactly this kind are used in racing and sports cars, and the Sabelt brand is among their suppliers. On a real car the harness dominates the interior, because its straps cut across the seat over its whole height.
The set is intended for car models in 1:24 scale. In this scale the interior is clearly visible through open windows and doors, and the belts, which a kit either does not have at all or has merely suggested directly on the seat, are among the elements the eye notices first. The set comes in a black form, so it suits dark as well as colored interiors of racing cars.
Fit the belts only onto a finished seat, that is after painting and drying, otherwise the paint will not get everywhere underneath them. First try dry how the straps will run from the anchor points over the shoulders to the buckle, and settle them permanently only then. Make the bends soft and let the belts hang loosely; a taut strap looks unnatural in scale. The exact fastening procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of racing and sports cars in 1:24 scale for whom the interior from the box is not enough. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
