This item is not a model of an automobile. It is an extra for a modeler who wants to take the detail on the Japanese Mazda Savanna RX-7 coupe in the GT-Limited fit higher than series-production plastic allows. Hobby Design has long devoted itself to refining sets for car models and its products aim at builders for whom the kit alone is no longer enough.
The Savanna RX-7 is a sports coupe with pop-up headlights and a rotary Wankel engine, that is, with a power unit that practically only Mazda offered in series production. The low nose, the long hood and the light body made a fixture of the Japanese tuning scene out of it, on the circuits as well as at the meets.
Before you reach for the glue, assemble the parts dry and find out where the plastic needs to be thinned or a mating surface sanded away. The small components are fitted with super glue applied in a minimal dose, ideally on the tip of a piece of wire. Protect finished paint with masking tape, so that it does not get scratched during the tuning, and work over a mat from which a dropped part can be traced.
The package serves exclusively for refining a build. The basic model, the paints and the glue are not part of it.
