1:24 Spitfire Mk.VIII LööKplus is the extended version of the cockpit set, which adds further resin parts to the color instrument panel.
Responsibility details are not available.
While the basic variant deals only with the instrument panel and the seat belts, the rendition marked as plus goes further and adds further small resin parts to it. In 1:24 scale that makes sense: the cockpit is so large that a viewer can look into it without difficulty and every simplification of a plastic part is noticeable. The color panel is finished at the factory and is transferred straight to the place of the original component.
The Mk.VIII came about as a thoroughly reworked airframe for the two-stage supercharged engine, and unlike the hastily created Mk.IX it had a strengthened structure and a retractable tailwheel. Most machines went outside Europe, where it proved itself especially at high altitude. Tropical modifications with a bulky intake air filter were common, and later examples carried a pointed rudder, which improved stability.
First wash the resin parts and free them of the casting blocks, then level the area after cutting. Remove the original plastic components so that enough room is left for the new pieces, and dry-fit everything before any glue is applied. Protect the color surface of the panel from solvents; spraying over it would do it no good. Use cyanoacrylate glue to join the parts.
