This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale captures the competition Subaru Impreza WRC in the 2001 season specification. The model faithfully conveys the characteristic look of the car with its four-door sedan body, small paired headlights, prominent rear wing and flared fenders. The kit contains a detailed chassis and an interior with a roll cage.
Subaru entered the World Rally Championship with the Impreza WRC after a change of regulations and, with a turbocharged flat-four, it celebrated a string of successes. The 2001 version used a sedan body for the first time and made its debut at the opening event of the season, the Monte Carlo Rally.
Spray the body with an airbrush and separate the color areas of the car with masking. Seal the abundant sponsor decals with a gloss varnish for a smooth transition. Assemble and paint the chassis and the interior before closing up the body; the fenders and the bumpers call for careful alignment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
