1:24 Toyota 86' 2012 Greddy & Rocket Bunny Detail-up Set for Aoshima kit

A supplementary set for the Toyota 86 in the Greddy and Rocket Bunny execution

A set of supplementary parts in 1:24 scale for the Toyota 86 of 2012 in the modification that the name links with the Greddy and Rocket Bunny brands. According to the name it is intended for the kit of the Aoshima brand. The point of the set is to replace simplified elements with a finer execution and to add details that will not fit into a kit.

The real subject

The Toyota 86 is a sporting coupe with rear-wheel drive and a flat four, introduced at the beginning of the last decade. The car came about in cooperation with Subaru and from the start was built rather for the pleasure of driving than for figures in output tables. Precisely for that reason it quickly became a favorite basis for modifications. The Rocket Bunny body kit adds conspicuous fender flares and a much wider stance to it, while the Greddy extras belong to the world of modifications of the power unit and the exhaust. The model therefore does not depict the series-production car but its modified form.

Building tips

• First compare the parts from the set with the kit and try to seat them dry.
• Remove the original simplified element carefully and bit by bit.
• Tip the small parts out onto a light mat with an edge and work with tweezers.
• Choose the glue according to the material of the part; with parts that are not of polystyrene, super glue in a small amount proves itself.
• With a wide stance, watch that the wheels stand symmetrically; on modified cars a lack of symmetry is visible at first glance.
• The exact procedure and the list of parts are stated by the manufacturer in the instructions.
