This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese brand Hasegawa in 1:24 scale captures the late version of the Toyota MR2 (AW11) G-Limited Super Charger sports car in a modified custom form. The set adds a new large 3D-printed spoiler and plastic eight-spoke wheels in the Watanabe style. The car can be built with the ordinary roof or with a removable T-bar panel.
The first-generation Toyota MR2 (AW11) was a compact sports car with a mid-mounted engine. The G-Limited Super Charger version carried a supercharged four-cylinder engine, which gave the small, light car a lively performance and placed it among the popular Japanese sports cars of the 1980s.
Glue and fill the body with a smooth glossy surface in mind; an airbrush and a gloss clear coat are ideal. Clean the 3D-printed spoiler part and remove the supports before gluing. The silver stripes and other markings are covered by the enclosed decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
