A package of small leaves meant to bring dioramas, bases and scenery to life. Foliage from the Ivy Foliage line is used where climbing greenery is to run up a wall, a fence, a stump or rubble, but it will also serve as fallen leaves on the ground or as the canopy of a small bush. The tone is named Yellow Birch, that is a warm yellowish position suited to autumn scenes and to places where the greenery is meant to be sunlit rather than deep summer.
The Small designation sets apart the finest size of leaf in this line. A smaller leaf reads credibly in finer scales and over areas where a larger leaf would upset the proportions of the whole scene; in large scales it suits young shoots and the edges of growth instead.
Before you glue the foliage down for good, lay it out dry and step back from the scene an arm's length. Greenery is judged from a distance, and an area that looks sparse close up may read exactly as it should from a normal viewing distance.
A diorama, a base, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
