Dipping ink 60 ml - RED CLOAK DIP is a semi-transparent dipping ink from the acrylic range of Green Stuff World. It is applied generously and runs into the recesses, where it darkens the shadow; the raised places stay lighter. The name of the shade refers to red and is aimed at the clothing, cloaks and fabric parts of figures.
A cloak, the cloth of a banner or a cape have exactly what the technique needs: a continuous area broken up by deep folds. The ink gathers in the folds, stays thinner on the ridges and the shape of the fabric reads by itself. On small details such as a buckle or a button the difference is much smaller, because there is simply nowhere for it to run. So when you plan what to dip on a figure and what to paint by hand, start precisely with the large textile areas - that is where the ratio of work done to time spent is the most favorable.
For fantasy and historical units with plenty of fabric, where shading every fold by hand would take a disproportionate amount of time.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate while working and close the bottle after use.
