Azure Dip is a dipping ink from the Green Stuff World brand in a package of 60 ml. It is not an opaque paint for covering areas, but a toning product applied generously over an already painted surface. The name refers to azure blue, so it is a blue tone of shadow, not a neutral gray.
Once applied, the ink spreads by itself, runs off the raised places and gathers in the recesses, joints and folds. There it darkens the shadow and separates the individual shapes from each other. A blue tone of shadow is rewarding everywhere you want to keep the shadow in a cold register: on white and light gray areas, on snow and ice bases, on metal parts or on blue fabrics, where a brown shadow would look dirty. The 60 ml volume lasts even for a long session or for a larger series of figures.
It suits painters of figures, builders of dioramas and modelers who work with a cold color palette and want a shadow that goes with the rest of the model. Because the effect arises from the ink running by itself, even a less experienced modeler can work with it.
Keep out of the reach of children and ventilate while working. Close the package carefully after use, so that the contents do not spill.
