Indigo Blue Dip is a dipping ink from the Green Stuff World brand in a package of 60 ml. It is not an opaque paint for covering an area, but a toning product applied generously over an already painted surface. The name refers to indigo blue, that is to a dark and saturated blue tone.
Once applied, the ink spreads by itself, leaves the raised places and collects in the recesses, joints and folds. There it darkens the shadow and gives the shapes an outline. Indigo blue is the darker of the blue tones, so it makes a more pronounced and more contrasting shadow than lighter blue options. It finds use on blue uniforms and fabrics, on night scenes, on dark metal and everywhere you want a shadow that does not slide into brown. The 60 ml volume is large enough to last for a whole series of figures or for a larger diorama scene.
It is intended for painters of figures and builders of dioramas who work with a darker palette and want a shadow with a saturated blue undertone. It will also serve anyone looking for a quick way to get depth into a model without laborious shading by hand.
Keep out of the reach of children and ventilate while working. Close the package carefully after use, so that the contents do not spill.
