This is a semi-transparent shade ink on a water-based acrylic base in a softly gray shade, in a bottle of 17 ml. It is not an opaque paint but a toning medium that creates a natural transition from highlights to shadows in a single coat. It is thinned with water and is non-toxic.

Use

• apply with a brush over a light matte base for the best shading effect
• a single coat gives depth in the joints as well as fine transitions
• shake the bottle well before use, the pigment settles to the bottom
• for a finer effect it can be thinned slightly with water or with an acrylic medium
• it takes layering under and over ordinary acrylic paints and washes
