1:35 FW 190 F-8 is a decal sheet for large-scale models of the German ground-attack aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8. The set is intended for the Border kit.

A decal sheet in the unusual aircraft scale of 1:35 from the Hungarian brand HAD models. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for those who have the Fw 190 in this larger scale. The waterslide decals are printed with a fine screen and on a thin carrier film, so once varnished they practically merge with the surface. The 1:35 scale appears on aircraft with only a very few makers, which makes accessories for it all the harder to source. It is based on the dimensions of the Border kit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 was the ground-attack version of the famous German fighter, powered by a two-row air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine. Compared with the fighter version it had strengthened armor on the lower part of the fuselage and racks for bomb armament, while part of the wing gun armament was dropped in favor of load capacity. The Fw 190 F served in the second half of the war mainly on the Eastern Front for close support of ground units and became the most widespread ground-attack version of the type.
The decals are applied onto a smooth glossy surface. Cut the motif out as close to the artwork as possible, soak it in lukewarm water and transfer it to the model once it has softened. A decal softener will help to settle the decal into engraved lines and over unevenness. Once dry, even out the surface with a varnish to the degree of sheen you want.
