New Ware Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 - EXPERT masks 1:48 is an extended set of kabuki masks for spraying glazing and details.
Responsibility details are not available.
The extended (EXPERT) set of precisely die-cut kabuki masks from New Ware is intended for models of the British carrier aircraft Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive in the maker's range and, against the basic sets, covers further elements worth masking besides the glazing.
Kabuki masks are stuck onto the glazing and the frames of the canopy, and then the color of the frames is sprayed on. Once they are taken off, clear glass and sharp, precisely bounded frames are left. Kabuki material follows shapes well and leaves no adhesive residue. The masks are shaped specifically for the Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 kit in this scale.
Degrease the glazing, set the mask exactly with no bubbles and spray in thin coats perpendicular to the surface, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Take the mask off before the paint cures completely.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
