Quickboost 1:32 Macchi MC.202, propeller

This is a resin detail accessory in 1:32 scale that replaces the plastic propeller on a model of the Italian Macchi MC.202 Folgore fighter. The casting offers a more accurate shape of the blades and the hub and saves the work of cleaning up the mold seams that plastic parts call for. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory for superdetailing.

Use

  • Separate the blades and the hub carefully from the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a saw.
  • Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent.
  • Glue the assembly with cyanoacrylate (superglue).
  • Apply a primer suited to resin before painting and watch the alignment of the blades.
