This resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale captures the LAU-93/A launch rails on which the F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter carried guided missiles. The castings offer finer detail than the plastic parts and make it easier to fit the stores faithfully. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for superdetailing.

Use

  • Separate the rails carefully from the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a saw.
  • Wash the mold release agent residue off them in lukewarm water with dish soap.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Apply a primer suitable for resin before painting.
