A set of acrylic inks from The Inks line of the Spanish brand AK interactive. It contains three inks built on the primary colors, that is on the foundation from which practically any other tone can be mixed. The inks are not a replacement for an opaque paint over an area: they are heavily pigmented and their purpose is to shift and saturate the shade of the acrylic paints they are mixed with.
An ink has a very finely ground pigment and a thin consistency. It is added to acrylic paint drop by drop and even a small amount changes the saturation of the resulting tone noticeably. On its own it is used for glazes and toning, where a coat is to stay smooth and clean in color, with no sharp transition at an edge.
For modelers and figure painters who work with acrylic paints and want to mix the tones themselves instead of buying every nuance separately. A set of the primary colors is a logical start, because the whole further palette arises from it.
Shake the contents thoroughly before use. Keep out of the reach of children.
