A themed set of modeling paints from Lifecolor put together for British uniforms and personal equipment of the period of the First World War. The selection is led by the subject, so with it you will cover the fabric parts as well as the webbing, the pouches and the other small things that belong to a figure. You can use it outside the original aim too.
Uniforms of the First World War look monotonous at first glance, but in reality several different materials meet on one figure: wool cloth, the canvas of the equipment, leather and the metal of the small fittings, and each of them reflects light differently. To that is added the dirt from the terrain, which the conditions of the time practically guaranteed in the infantry. A modeler therefore works with a range of close tones and shades and highlights the base area further, so that the figure does not look flat. A matched selection of shades markedly simplifies that work.
The set is intended for figure modelers and builders of dioramas of the period of the First World War. Anyone building a scene with the crew of a piece of equipment who needs to match the figures in color with their surroundings will appreciate it too.
Ventilate the area while you work, close the bottles carefully after use and store them out of the reach of children.
