Replacement German pattern wheels marked with the size 610x85, intended for aircraft models in 1:35 scale. The wheel has spoked lacing, that is a rim joined to the hub by thin wires instead of a solid disc. How many pieces the package contains and which kit the wheels are shaped for is stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
The wheels are exactly where a replacement part shows most on a model. Fine lacing and a sharp transition between the tire and the rim are among the details that a plastic part renders only roughly, and yet the viewer has them right in front of the eyes, because the landing gear on a model is always exposed. The pair of figures in the designation belongs to the period marking of the tire size.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic does not hold on them; use super glue. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest away carefully so that neither the rim nor the lacing is damaged. Wash and degrease the wheels before painting and apply a primer, otherwise the color will rub off during handling. Fit the wheel last, once the landing gear is finished and painted.
The wheels will be appreciated by a modeler who is bothered by coarsely rendered lacing and wants the landing gear on the same level as the rest of the build. The work is short, but it calls for a steady hand while cutting and a flat surface on which the wheel will sit without leaning.
