Responsibility details are not available.
This figure set in 1:35 scale from the Latvian brand Copper State Models captures a German teamster, that is the figure who handled the horse team drawing the Fahrpanzer mobile armored turret. In subject it follows on directly from further items of the same sub-line, and together with them it makes it possible to put together a complete composition with a team and a drawn load.
A teamster was a trade in the armies of the First World War on which the whole of supply logistics rested. He handled the team, looked after the animals and the harness and had to judge where a load could be got through at all. With the moves of the Fahrpanzer armored turrets, which the Gruson works developed for fortified positions, transfer along a narrow-gauge railway or on a wheeled chassis drawn by horses was counted on. It was precisely with the second variant that the figure of the teamster was indispensable, and a composition with him is historically more convincing than the equipment on its own.
A teamster figure works best in direct contact with the team, that is at a horse's head, on the driver's seat or beside the pole. The gaze and the turn of the body determine the direction of movement of the whole composition. For matching the colors it suits to keep a single period key for the uniform, the harness and the coats of the animals, so that the scene comes across as one whole.
