A set of pre-painted seat belts of photo-etched steel for models of the F-35B in 1:48 scale. The parts are printed in color in advance and self-adhesive, so it is enough to separate them carefully from the fret, shape them and stick them onto the seat of the ejection seat. A steel base holds a shape better than brass, so the belts look realistically curved and seat naturally. The set replaces the flat plastic or decal belts from the box and markedly raises the look of the cockpit.
The F-35B is the version of the multirole fifth-generation Lightning II fighter aircraft with a short takeoff and a vertical landing (STOVL). It serves with the Marine Corps and with navies and it is fitted with a modern ejection seat with a multi-point harness system, which the set imitates faithfully.
Separate the belts with a sharp knife on a glass surface. Use tweezers with flat jaws for shaping and make the bends over an edge. The self-adhesive layer is enough to fix them, and on loaded joints a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added. There is no need to spray paint, and any scuffed edges can be touched up.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
