A detailed cockpit set from the Brassin range of the Eduard brand, made by direct 3D printing from resin and meant for refining a model of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/R2 in 1:48 scale. This is not an airplane kit but a highly detailed resin accessory that replaces the plastic cockpit of the base model.
The set contains a complete 3D-printed cockpit with rich detail on the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seat and the frame; small photo-etched parts and instrument decals are usually included as well. Thanks to the direct printing the parts have a fine surface and sharp edges that conventional plastic cannot reach.
First wash the resin parts free of the remains of the release agent, separate the printing supports carefully and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Painting is preceded by a careful base coat (primer).
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
