The wheel set for the Tiger II, Jagdtiger and Panther II in 1:35 scale from Friulmodel is a detail accessory for a model, not a kit of the vehicle in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail accessory, not a kit of a vehicle. The set is meant to replace the wheels on models of the German Tiger II heavy tank, written in the name as King Tiger, of the Jagdtiger tank destroyer, given in the name by the paraphrase Hunting Tiger, and of the Panther II project. All three machines are linked by related running gear, which is why one set covers them. The exact contents of the package are stated on its box.
The Tiger II entered combat in 1944 as the heaviest German tank put into service in quantity, with a long 8.8 cm gun. The Jagdtiger with a 12.8 cm gun was built on its lengthened chassis. The Panther II, by contrast, was a development branch that never reached series production: it was to share components with the Tiger II and simplify manufacture, but it got no further than an unfinished chassis and project documentation. That drive for shared components is the reason the same road wheels with steel tires and internal rubber cushioning suit all three machines. The Panther II appeals to modelers as a popular subject among the machines that never reached combat.
Assemble interleaved running gear row by row. Fit the inner row first, let it harden properly and only then put the outer wheels on. Dry-fit all the wheels and make sure they seat in one plane, otherwise the track will not line up. Lay the paint down in thin layers before the outer row closes everything up, because after that you will struggle to reach into the gaps. Leave accents in the recesses and dust pigments to the very end.
