Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a kit but a masking set in 1:48 scale from the New Ware brand. It covers the areas that are to stay free of paint after spraying, so that the glazing frames and other divisions come out sharp. The name gives the designation kabuki masks and the EXPERT level, which with this brand is the widest of the levels of extent used; alongside it New Ware carries BASIC and ADVANCED for a number of types. The more limited BASIC level exists for the same aircraft as a separate item, so you can choose according to how much you want to mask.
The Yakovlev Yak-9 was the most numerous Soviet fighter of the Second World War. The Yak-9T version was created as an antiarmor and antibomber variant: it received a 37 mm cannon on the propeller axis, and because of its length the cockpit moved back. The pilot therefore had a poorer view forward while taxiing, but a single hit was enough to damage a target heavily. The machines proved themselves against German bombers and against lightly armored vehicles, and they also flew over the Kuban and in the later offensives westward.
