The picture book Fotokronika letounu firmy Heinkel (A Photo Chronicle of Heinkel Aircraft), part two, by V. Koos. A book from the Jakab Publishing list.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second volume of the picture chronicle of the aircraft of the German Heinkel company follows on from the first part, which is a separate item. Heinkel was among the German aircraft makers of the interwar years and of the Second World War, and its machines appear in modeling collections across all scales. The author is V. Koos and the book comes out on the Jakab Publishing list.
A photo chronicle rests on period images. They show the machines as they looked in service, that is with their finishes, markings, operational wear and the equipment that a kit usually simplifies. How many images the volume holds, how it is arranged and which period it covers are given by the publisher; all that follows from the name is that this is the second part of the series.
Photographs answer the questions the kit instructions cannot handle: what shade a given surface is, exactly where a marking sits, what a muddy landing gear or a chipped leading edge looks like. Anyone building a model after a particular machine will also value the fact that a chronicle shows several variants side by side and makes the choice of subject easier.
The volume suits the modeler focused on German aviation, the collector of aviation literature and the reader who enjoys history told in pictures. It can be read on its own, but together with the first part it forms a whole. This is a printed publication; kits, decals and other modeling goods are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
