It replaces the simplified plastic part from the kit, which usually lacks thin walls, pressings and the fine details of the structure. Printing manages shapes that cannot be got into an injection mold, so the difference is visible even without a magnifier.
Watch the variant: according to the name this item is without seat belts. The manufacturer also makes a set of the same seat with fabric belts and photo-etched buckles. Choose according to whether you want to do the belts your own way or to have them in the package.
The Douglas A-20, Boston in British service and Havoc in the night version, was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft of the Second World War. It was produced in large numbers and served with the American army and with its allies. The pilot's station was arranged differently on the early versions from the later ones, so the seats cannot be interchanged between variants; this one is for the early type.
First wash the 3D-printed part in warm water with detergent and let it dry thoroughly, so that no print resin residue is left on the surface. Cut the print supports off with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your breathing while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate; ordinary plastic cement has no effect on resin. Apply primer before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. You can add the belts from photo-etched parts, from foil or from strips of medical tape.
