1:32 A-26C Invader - a colored interior on decal paper from Quinta Studio over the smaller extent of the set. An accessory for a large model of the American attack machine with a glazed nose.
Responsibility details are not available.
Quinta Studio supplies the interior elements printed on decal paper. They are applied directly onto the plastic parts of the cockpit and will replace the lengthy hand coloring of instruments. The designation Small version in the name means a smaller extent than with the full version of the same set.
This twin-engine attack and light bombing machine first flew in 1942 and reached combat units at the close of 1944. The C version differed from the attack form by a glazed nose for the bombardier, whereas the B version had a nose full of barrels. The power was provided by a pair of Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. After the war the type flew under the new designation B-26 over Korea and over Southeast Asia as well, so its career covered three conflicts.
Cut the elements out with a sharp scalpel close to the edge, soak them briefly and slide them onto a degreased and varnished base. Level any raised plastic details that are to be covered over beforehand with fine abrasive paper. Draw off the excess water, press the piece into the hollows with a cotton swab and let it dry out honestly. Do not mix anything into the water; softener would damage the printed resin.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not in the box.
