This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale. It holds the seat belts for the Escapac IA-1 ejection seat of the A-4E Skyhawk attack aircraft. It is not an airplane model but an accessory, which will replace the simplified plastic belts and bring the cabin to life.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American light single-seat carrier-based attack aircraft with a characteristic delta wing. The A-4E version was among the widespread variants and used the Escapac IA-1 ejection seat, whose multi-point harness this set captures faithfully.
The photo-etched parts are separated from the fret, formed with tweezers over an edge and glued with super glue. The belts are painted and the buckles picked out; for a natural look they are arranged loosely over the seat. The accessory is fitted before the cabin is closed up.
This is a photo-etched accessory for refining a model, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
