An Aires resin detail set in 1:32 scale intended to replace the cabin of a kit of the early version of the A-7E Corsair II aircraft. This is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit. It contains a faithfully cast cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles and an ejection seat; Aires sets of this type tend to come with photo-etched parts and pre-printed instruments as well. The designation of the early version corresponds to the earlier arrangement of the A-7E cabin.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American carrier-based light attack aircraft. The A-7E version represented a powerful attack variant with advanced avionics; its cabin changed during service, and this set captures the early form of the interior.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The interior comes out well after painting, toning and bringing out the details. Check the compatibility with your particular A-7E kit.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
