Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from the maker Quickboost is a resin replacement for the exhaust system in 1:32 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail part for the plastic kit of the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero fighter. The A6M2 version belonged to the early series of the Zero and used a collector exhaust manifold, whose shape differs from the later ejector stubs of the A6M5 version. The cast exhausts have faithfully open mouths and a fine surface. Check the exact contents of the package against the particular edition.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier-based fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine. The A6M2 version was one of the early production variants, with which the Zero stood out at the start of the war for its long range and agility. It served as the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It works well to spray a primer, then the metallic and burnt shades, and finally to pick the mouths out with a dark wash and pigments.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
