A set of turned metal barrels, A6M5 Zero - 7.7 mm and 20 mm armament and a pitot tube, in 1:32 scale from MASTER. It refines the armament of the Japanese naval fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains turned metal barrels for the machine guns of 7.7 mm caliber and the cannons of 20 mm caliber as well as a pitot tube for a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero naval fighter in 1:32 scale. The metal parts replace the simplified plastic items from the box and give the armament and the airspeed sensor a faithful, sharp look. It is made by the Polish brand MASTER.
The A6M Zero was the main Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War, famous for its long range and its agility. The A6M5 version was among the most widespread and combined two fuselage machine guns of 7.7 mm caliber above the engine with two wing cannons of 20 mm caliber. The pitot tube on the leading edge of the wing sensed the speed of the airflow and is one of the small but conspicuous details of a model.
Cut off the plastic barrels and the pitot and clean up the mating surfaces. Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate. After degreasing, apply a primer for metal; pick out the weapon muzzles with dark metallic shades.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
