Eduard 1:32 A6M5 Zero engine is a photo-etched set for detailing the engine of a plastic model of the Japanese A6M5 Zero fighter in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at raising the fidelity of the engine section of a plastic model of the A6M5 Zero fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory with fine metal parts that bring the radial engine and its surroundings to life.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero (Model 52) was a carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. It was powered by an air-cooled Nakajima Sakae radial engine. Model 52 was one of the most widespread versions of the Zero, with modified, clipped wings and exhausts that contributed to higher performance.
Nip the fine parts from the fret, clean them up and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The engine detail comes into its own once painted in metallic shades and lightly weathered. Make the bends over a sharp edge and pick up small items with tweezers. Degrease the surface before painting.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
