Eduard B-17G Flying Fortress 1:32 is a set of painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for easy, accurate masking of the glazing and other transparent parts of a model of the American B-17G bomber in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale for the Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber. The masks are made of a fine masking material (kabuki paper) that follows the shape of the cockpit glazing frames and of the other transparent parts exactly. They are stuck onto the model, sprayed over and taken off once dry, so that the frames stay cleanly outlined. This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a model in its own right — the kit has to be obtained separately.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, used above all on daylight strategic bombing over Europe. It was marked by heavy defensive armament of half-inch machine guns and a tough structure, thanks to which it often came home with heavy damage. The B-17G version brought the forward chin turret under the nose for defense against head-on fighter attacks.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model of the aircraft. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
