A plastic diorama set, the Barricade Set (barricades and obstacles), in 1:35 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. It is not a vehicle model but a collection of defensive obstacles that give a Second World War scene an authentic character and break it up into a defensive position.
The package allows you to build wooden and metal barricades, plus parts for coiled barbed wire, a ready-made wire barrier and anti-tank obstacles (hedgehogs). By combining the elements you can easily create a checkpoint, a street barricade or a forward defensive line.
Separate the parts from the sprues and glue them with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting, bring out the wood with glazes and a dry brush, and weather the metal parts with a wash and pigments for rust and mud effects.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
